ok...i have the world's thickest hair and i want to wear my hair down straight without it being soooo poofy. right when i get out of the shower its fine until it dries. i really want something that can make my hair flat and not thick...without having to do my whole head with a straightener for an hour... so please help!!!!!!!!

My hair is super thick also, and unfortunately your only real alternatives are using a straightening iron or having it permanently straightened in the salon which is very expensive. Someone suggested having it thinned out, but with really thick hair it works for a couple of weeks, then when your hair starts to grow, the problem is even worse than before, from my experience anyways.

Try rebonding. It helps and it will stay flat.

I usually let my hair air dry and then use a straightening iron on it.
I also went to my stylist and she 'thinned' out my hair by using special scissors designed to lessen the weight of thick hair and attempt to make it more manageable. I now get this done every other time I see my stylist. If you get it done too much, you'll end up with super fine hair! So I end up getting mine thinned out a bit every 3-4 months.

you could probally get your hair thinned and if u wanna staighten it there are alot of creams and sprays to help it straighten better, you could also try those shampoos that are always on the comercals saying that you need hairipy...
