Thick hair bangs good idea?

my hair is brown EXTREMLY thick (yet smooth) and poofy unless i straighten. I had bangs as kid and they were cute but Im wondering if theyre a good idea now.

I dont like the idea of side bangs.

I just want a change... bad?

I think it all depends on the shape of your face. I also had Bangs as a child and they were cute and have THICK brown hair but would not dream of having them now I like the side bangs myself , and think about how thick your hair is. I would not do it if I were you maybe go for a layered cut.

I am a hairdresser and if u r under 30 and want thick bangs, make the the longer side swept bangs and razor or "chop" the ends so it wont overwhelm ur face
