Which hair straighteners should I purchase for my wavy fairly thick hair? preferably effective &

I would really appreciate some advice with regards to straighteners.

I have shoulder length fairly thick, wavy black hair. I currently use some Babyliss 2030 metal straighteners to straighten it once or twice a week. I bought these acouple of yrs ago and were very inexpensive (鎷?5) - though they are surprisingly quite good. However, my hair can look a little dull after straightening and starts to go alittle frizzy.

I do not want my hair to be dead poker straight but I do want it to look sleek, shiny and with a slight wave. Ideally I'd like the effect to last acouple of days.

I've done some research into straighteners but quite frankly I am baffled - there are so many brands to choose from. Even within a brand like Babyliss there are so many different models.

GHDs are way too exepnsive for me. Im looking to spend about 鎷?5-30 - is it possible to get a good pair of straighteners for this price?

they work great on my hair i think they were like 鎷?5

it straightens it with a little wave at the bottom like, it floicks out, but i think it looks ok like it.

Yes, you can get a type of straightener called Remington... They are BRILLIANT. quite like a GhD... i dont know cost in sterling but theyre about 30euro so maybe 20pounds? they have luminous yellow ceramic plates and leave your hair looking and feeling great! hope it helps!!!

metal straighteners are the worst for your hair!

if you're looking for one that keeps your hair healthy while straightening once or twice a week, you'll find that it really will be worth it to spend money on a relatively expensive hair straightener.

revlon is a good brand - they aren't the best, but they are fairly cheap. [i use dollars, i have no idea what that is in 鎷? but i know it's much cheaper than the GHD.]

solia or sedu or chi straighteners are also pretty good, they're a little more expensive but still cheaper than GHD.

i know this problem like no other but i have found a soulotion lol okay so i use herbal essence frizz control hair products to wash and condition my hair then i get out of the shower and towel dry it then i just bought a new wet to dry straightener it works great and it was only $20 so im not sure how much that converts to but its well worth it once im done my hair is exactly how i want it and it looks nice and has a healthy shine
