What I think you should do is straighten your hair like usual and buy as big of barrel curling iron your hair will wrap around and curl your hair into big curls. Take a wide tooth comb and comb through, flip your head upside down and shake, flip your head back upright and smooth out. To make your hair shiny, avoid frizz, and protect your hair from the heat you can use a product called Shine infusion by CHI. Hope this helps.

crimp ur hair with a crimper....idk i have naturally wavy hair and i try to make it straight...a trick that makes it really wavy in to braid ur dry hair and leave it in all night then late in the morning, take it out, and it will be ourageously wavy!

I really must insist that you read this book "Curly Girls" by Lorraine Massey. Oprah had her on her show a few months ago. She is a hair stylist that Specializes in "curly hair". Curls, waves, whatever you have/want; how to treat your hair- because it should be treated VERY differently than if it were straight. Never to use hot irons on it. How to make your wave more define. The proper conditioner and gel to use... and to only really wash your hair about ever 5-10 days, and to never use shampoo!!!

I just got the book, read it and so far, I have no frizz! And am getting compliments on it from all of my friends too!
