My mom bought it for me and i dont really have anything else to use, will it make my hair puffy? cause my hair is thickish already.

It's not preferable, but if your mom bought it, I doubt it will make your hair noticeably puffier unless you blow dry it with mousse.

I have really thick hair, and I usually use a straightening gel or serum when my hair is about 80% dry, blow dry it straight, and then straighten it out, and voila! no poof.

it can make your hair a little puffy. i have thick hair too and i cant use volumizing shampoo. if its the only thing you have, then i guess thats what youve gotta use, but i wouldnt recommend volumizing shampoo for thick hair.

i have really thick hair too, and i've always avoided them although it doesnt really make a difference. however using a volumizing moose or a really good volumizing conditioner might add some more "poof" to your hair. i would suggest a smoothing shampoo and if you blow dry your hair use a leave in conditioner. since you pretty much have to use it, don't worry, if it does affect your hair it'll only be that way for a little bit. (just pour all the shampoo out of the bottle after a couple weeks haha)
