my hair is really thick. i got my hair cut and my hair thinned out but it's still just as thick as before. is there anyway i can get it thinner at home?

Thick hair can be very unruly.
If getting your hair thinned out really didn't work, try getting a good layer chop. It should thin things out. Try not washing your conditioner out, it can result in much sleeker hair.
If all of that doesn't work, try using some olive oil. Put a very tiny dab (maybe mixed with some water) on your hands, rub them together, and smear on your hair. Comb it through evenly. Your hair should definitely be much straighter and sleeker than before. If all of the above fails, step into a qualified hair salon and ask for some help and tips.
