so one of my best friends has really really really thick hair. And its not the thick that looks pretty. She has it cut arond the shoulders and honestly, it looks horrible. She tries to staighteb it but its so thick that she can't reach the back and its all frizzy and curly underneath. Also, she scrunched it sometimes and it looks just as bad. She thinks she looks amazng but the truth is people e make fun of her behind her back. I want to give her ideas that would make it look beter but.. I have none. Help! I'm so sick of people making fun of her!
Oh, by the way. Her hair is naturally super curly and she already thins it.. Yikes!

It could simply be a product issue. curly hair is hard to deal with, but eventually the right product, put on at the right time (wet, dry) Will be a key factor.
Does she blow dry her hair? she should not if she can avoid it. you could always get her a gift certificate to a salon and when you purchase it, talk to a stylist about your friend and her hair. So, that stylist should be on the card and when she goes in for her 'makeover', that stylist will already know what the issues are!
