okey dokey, so i have hair sorta like urs, but now it's gotten a little curlier and looks like jamielynnspear's hair naturally, but anyways, i used to have the same problem. so if ur hair's just a little wavy, then u can always straighten it or curl it. if u want the miley cyrus, jamie lynn spears, vanessa hudgens... i suggest a big curler so that u don't have little frizzy curls everywhere. second, i would get it layered, to give it more volume, that really worked for me! i really hope this helped, good luck :D

I've got super thick hair too, takes forever to dry after the shower if I let it dry naturally.

My best tip for you is to go to the hair dresser and ask for it to be thinned out. It's a lot lighter and so much more managable.

i think u can thin kur hair out at a cutters lace. i think some kind of layers. go to the barber and ask. it dosent hurt

My hair is really thick and she has to thin it every time I go. You can get it thinned without losing length, ask your hairdresser, they will be able to tell you.

Try asking the hairdressers for good shampoos and conditioners to make it shiney, wavey, thinner, or w/e you want. There are tons of great, cheap crimpers, curlers, and streighteners for you to use on your hair. You can also get your hair thinned at your hair dresser. I have not yet tried that, but my friend has and it worked well for her.

be yourself and learn to like what you have and work with it.

you dont have to look like "the celebs"

but i mean if you find a hair style that you like, you can try it, you just gotta do what you can with your hair. dont try to be somebody your not.

Get it done at a hair salon. Bring a picture of someone whos hairstyle you want and just ask them to thin you hair,without changing the length. : ]

if you find something to do with thick hair please let me kno!! lol ... i have really really thick hair so i usually just straighten it. but the closest i've ever gotten to the wavy look was by first scrunching it (so you have some kind of product in your hair to hold the style) then curl it all then brush thru it a little bit so theres not such tight curls. so maybe try that. i kno you said you dont really want to get your hair cut, but i found it helps if you get layers cut into your hair... good luck!! =)
