Really long, thick hair in overnight curlers?

I want to make my hair look beautiful because I'm 1st chair in a orchestra and on thursday we have a concert. My hair is SUPER long (not down to my but, by maybe 3 inches below my breasts) and SUPER thick.

1. How do you think it will turn out?

2. How long will it take to put curlers in AND take them out in the morning?

3. Would it stay pretty throughout the day (take out at 6, play at 7 pm)?

4. Do you think I should leave it or pin it back with a pretty barrette when it is done?

You have a super easy question.....I have very long hair that is super thick so I know exactly what you are going through.Having thick hair it is hard to keep a curl.To get the curls just right as you curl it lightly spray it with hairspray.It is going to take a long time to curl it so don't have any plans.The curls need to be small otherwise they will fall out or you won't have a curl after all your hard work.I would pin it back cause that will help hold the curls and spray extra hold hairspray on your hair.Good luck!

OK well I know where you are coming from because i have very thick hair too. Are you putting the curlers in with wet hair? I'm guessing that so if that is so then it probably wont turn out very well. That is only because since we have thick hair it takes longer to dry and air out over night,so all that moisture gets locked in the curlers so when you take them out in the morning,some locks will be curly and beautiful while others will be stringy and wet. as far as time it takes a while but not as long if you have another person to do it for you. and it probably wont stay curly for the whole day. it does not take long to take them out because all you do is pull them off. and it really depends on your hair but for a concert i would pull it back with a pretty barrette! wow i know that was long but i hope it helped!

IT will look beter then all the other girls i can tell you that sister does it all the time dont worry and my does that stuff for a living so trust me I know.(.)(.)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... and dont lestin to the first person that answerd put them in wet hair it is the best thing to do and they turn out vary vary vary vary vary vary ccccccccccccccuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttttttttttt...
